Edith Garcia Pagan aka Susie was born and raised in Camden, NJ; a place that in 1992, TIME Magazine wrote an article, that would inspire Susie to stand against all odds. The Article was titled, “The Other America, Who could live there? Only people with no other choice -- and in Camden that usually means children” By Kevin Fedarko, Camden, Monday, Jan. 20, 1992. This article did not depict a positive image, but unfortunately it was not far from the truth. However Susie decided very early that she would not be, just another statistic.

Susie was brought up in single parent household, by a mother who raised her in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Mom exemplified strength and courage, but it was all because Mom had faith in her Savior, Jesus Christ. Through the instruction of the word and praying mother, Susie was able walk in the path that led her to attend college and earn a Bachelor’s Degree in, Social Work. She always knew she wanted to help people. Her walk with Christ coupled with her education and life’s personal experiences helped her develop a greater desire to pour into the lives of women.

Susie loves the Lord and she has a great passion for worshipping Susie loves the Lord and she has a great passion for worshipping through the gift of song. Since she was a little girl, she loved to sing and later in her journey, God granted her the opportunity to become one of the Worship Leaders for Assemblies of God in Bayonne, the place that she would forever call her Training Camp. There she also served as a Youth SundaySchool Teacher, for a number of years, until God decided he would relocate her back to Southern New Jersey; Camden County to be exact. Once she came back to the Camden County the doors open for Susie to be Vice President of A la Imagen de Dios, In God’s Image Ministry, which worked with battered women and served as a Vocalist for Aurora Music Ministry until 2011.

Susie is happily  married to Ricardo Pagan. She is blessed to be a step-mother to Nicolas and Alex.
